I start as an entry level administrative assistant at a probate law office next week, I made the mistake(?) of looking at employee reviews on Glassdoor for the new employer and… oh wow, they are rough!

It’s a very small firm with around 15 current employees, and they had 4 reviews. One review was 5 stars, the other 3 were 1 star and said some very concerning stuff. Stuff like “attorneys threaten with your paycheck and treat employees like they are useless.” “One attorney puts the whole office on edge with how condescending and confrontational she is.” And so, so much more.

I was very excited to start a new job but now after reading these reviews I am a bit… nervous.
