Is HRT necessary if you feel fine?

So...I have endometriosis and I've been on meds to suppress my periods for over a decade as it kept the pain and spotting at bay. I noticed I was able to lower my dose down quite a bit over the last year, so my Gyne suggested going off of it and having hormone testing to see where I'm at. Lo and behold...I'm 47 and fully menopausal. 🫤 (My mom was early too, so I shouldn't be surprised, I guess.)

I've had mild peri symptoms for the last 3-4 years, but nothing crazy. Since going off the meds 6 weeks ago, no big issues other than hot flashes, which I had before. My weight has been the same since I was 35. My endo symptoms are gone.

But I keep reading I'll fall apart without HRT. And I'm nervous adding estrogen back in could cause my symptoms to return. My doc is open to a consult, but if I'm fine without the hormones, is it wrong to not use them?

Is repricing a cruise pretty easy?

I'm looking at a cruise for next year and it's at the lowest point I've seen it, but still a fair amount of availability. I'd like to book it just to have the location we want and spread out the payments, but if the price drops, is it really not a big deal to get a price adjustment? Do you just call?
