trying to find a fic (hermione mc, time travel 1995 (or earlier))
The premise of the fic was a 'what if' style thing where a post war hermione - i think she had an apartment by herself and was pretty isolated - is through some way sent back in time to the summer before 5th year (i believe). Essentially, she ended up Grimmauld Place with Sirius and Remus as her adult self and freaked the fuck out. I don't believe there was intended romance between anyone and it was more plot focussed, but I am entirely unsure of the tags - hence why I've been entirely unable to find this.
I do remember that she sirius and remus came up with a plan to disguise hermione as an old gone order member so she could be present when her past / younger self was in Grimmauld place. Hestia Jones is the one I'm pretty sure, they either permanently transfigured her or temporarily
I read this some years ago on ao3, its entirely possible it has been deleted by now, however, if anyone can remember this or something that would be fab, however time travel fics are very common in this fandom so its been very difficult to narrow things down. Usually I have pretty good luck finding stuff or using the wayback machine but this is an outlier!
