TikTok scam or attempted hack?
Hi everyone. This morning i received a message from TikTok with a 4 digit code, which was sent to me, because someone tried to lock in to my account. I did not make that request. The TikTok number is real. I had previous messages with it. All messages were in my native language, not the one today. It was in english.
Just a minute later, a telephonenumber from the United Kingdom wrote that exact 4 digit code to me on my sms messenger. Nothing else. Just the code. (I do not live in the UK).
According to the tiktok app, no device logged in to my account. No Info has been changed, for 4 hours. No other request has been made. I already wrote to the TikTok Support.
The telephonenumber that wrote to me is not similiar to mine. (False request or so)... there was no link or anything to click on.
I'm desperate. Please help me. What is going on.
