Hi there - before I begin, I’m just genuinely looking for opinions here, not trying to sell anything or spam anyone.

Pain Point

I’ve been a user of regulatory intelligence solutions for a while now, the likes of Cortellis, IQVIA and Freyr.

I’ve found these tools to have brilliant data, but as my colleague once put it, you need a tremendous amount of patience coupled with a shovel and an axe to extract intelligence from them.

Something as simple as “what’s FDA’s current position on X across all relevant guidances” shouldn’t require 45 minutes of clicking through document lists.

Now these companies are racing to retrofit AI on to what are effectively legacy platforms, which in my opinion is still delivering a sub-optimal user experience.

Idea For Your Thoughts

Given these companies bring together what is essentially publicly available information, e.g. FDA, EMA and then charge tens and in a lot of cases hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, is there any appetite in the reg affairs community for a truly ai-native regulatory intelligence platform.

I am thinking of a platform which genuinely delivers intelligence and monitoring of the regulatory landscape, alongside providing users the ability to do things, such as generate reports, compare documents, in essence bring regulatory intelligence into 2026, rather than just a database with filters and a sub-standard chatbot fitted on top.

If there is a genuine appetite, what are the key features which would make people’s lives easier - your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
