was looking at a local service page recently and something kinda stuck with me.
The page kept saying they were “perfect for small businesses”, but it never said what kind of small business. One location? 10 locations? urgent service? appointment based? no clue. For normal SEO maybe that’s fine. The page has the keywords, the headings, the usual service area stuff. But for GEO, i’m starting to think vague fit is a problem. If an answer engine has to recommend a business or summarize who it’s for, “small business” is almost too broad to be useful.A better line might be something like: “best for teams with 2-10 locations who need same-day response, probably overkill for one-location shops.”
It feels a bit less salesy, but maybe more useful.
What kind of “fit / not fit” details are you adding to pages now?
