I bought this game a few days ago, and don't understand anything. Please only give gameplay advice, no spoilers about story or what has yet to be discovered (I'm only at rank 3 in the tech tree or however you call it)

What I basically did (at the starterbase):

• Try not to run out of energy
• Build an energy network form the roof to the boat, passing through batteries
• scavanged everything I found
• filled the ship up with fuel / energy and went to the first point

What I don't understand:

• How to deconstruct. I tried to beat my badly-placed solar panel to oblivion, but it just broke and now smokes for eternity. I did research the tool for it (I think) but can't find it.
• What are those larvae boarding my boat every night hunting me down, while I hide inside the "healing room" eating batteries, becasue I disabled the ship's power.
• How to repair boat.
• Is it normal, that I can't seem to load up my ship's battery faster, than my character uses energy? Please help. I'm at 1/4 of the battery.

If you could drop some quality of life tips or just some helping tips (without spoiling too much) I would be grateful. (for context, I only was at the starterbase and first location)
