What do you do to keep track of your payments and ensure that all of them are counting toward the Public Interest Student Loan Forgiveness program? I am about to start a public interest job and plan to work the 10 years there until they are forgiven.

My partner and I are buying our first house. During the inspection we found water filtration issues in the basement and were told we need to buy a b-dry system as soon as we move in. We were able to get the seller to split this with us. But, we just got our mold testing results back today and the results are concerning us. We’re not sure if we should walk away from the house. The basement air sample is 31,100 spores/m3. The outside air is 1,230 spores/m3. The results show active indoor mold and the report from our inspector who did the testing recommends removing Sheetrock and getting insulation, HEPA air scrubbers, and a full surface cleaning with an estimated cost of 4k-7k. When I spoke with him on the phone he said it would just require the HEPA filtration and cleaning and that nothing needed to be removed from the house and that the results aren’t bad. Without paying for additional mold testing, I am hoping to get more opinions to see if this house is still worth purchasing.
