I graduated from grad school around five years ago, having enrolled in PAYE. I recently went to renew my same plan, though my salary recently increased last year and MOHELA are now telling me that I’m no longer eligible for it as a no longer have financial hardship. They are forcing me to go to one of the two plans, of which I would likely choose IBR. Is anyone else in the same boat? I thought that financial hardship didn’t matter for renewing PAYE as long as you qualified in the very beginning of taking out the plan
