I was recently taken off the waitlist for NYU, and got admitted to the liberal studies core. I'm committed to BU rn, and was fully set on going there, but now idk what to do. Does starting in the spring put people at a disadvantage? I'm just scared im going to show up and have no idea what Im doing, plus NYU is already kind of a socially isolating school, so I feel like starting later is going to make it even harder to find solid friends. If anyone has experience with spring start or with the liberal studies core, I'd really appreciate if you could talk about what it's like. Also, what did you guys do over the gap semester?
