Beetles?

I’ve posted this before but still looking for help. I have noticed these very tiny beetle looking bugs on my fig tree. Primarily on the red branches, which I’m told are dead. I’ve cut a few, and noticed a ring of green around white in the center. I also see tiny pin sized holes in those branches. I’m not seeing any on the main trunks nor am I seeing the strands that are usually pictured for ambrosia beetles. Can anyone help with this?

Bugs?

Just noticed these tiny bugs on branches. This tree was recently transplanted from another property to mine. Has a few new shoots coming from the ground with leaf buds but not sure what existing branches are dead or alive yet. This tree is very special to me. Any advice or suggestions on what these are and how to get rid of them are appreciated!

I am looking for some professional development resources as a manager in managing performance. I oversee a small team and, while I have managed people before, I am managing at a higher level and this is new to me. I have had some great managers that I have learned from but also some absolutely awful ones that I probably have some ptsd from.

I have one employee that just gets it and requires little oversight - always keeps me updated on the status of projects. The other, needs a lot of support and coaching. And this is where I am struggling. Communication is poor, requiring me to ask many questions to dig and insert myself more than I would like to. Follow through is poor, missing important details. I just don’t think they have the systems they need to succeed and I’m trying to help them build those but the issues continue.

Any resources, articles, webinars, etc that you may have found helpful yourself would be greatly appreciated.

This is probably a stupid question but how do I know if my fig tree is still alive? I have no idea what type it is. It’s been in my family for decades and I recently dug it out of a late family members yard and put in mine. I’m in zone 7b. No buds yet except for one small skinny straggler coming out the bottom that looks like it has a green bud at the end. How do I know if I’ve killed it? I will be devastated if it’s dead.
