Just noticed something weird and wanted to see if anyone else has seen this.

I used a pretty heavy thinking/reasoning query on my normal ChatGPT account, then later checked Codex and my 5-hour quota looked like it had dropped by around 20%.

I always assumed regular ChatGPT usage and Codex usage were separate, so this confused me a bit. Maybe I misunderstood how the limits work, or maybe some usage is shared behind the scenes?

While snooping around I found out on OpenAI's help page that ChatGPT file uploads, image generation, or voice have separate usage limits, but conveniently omits anything about regular chat limits.

Has anyone else run into this or gotten a clear answer on it?
