Found this skein of faux fur yarn in a discount bin this weekend and knew it would be perfect for gifting my hairless cat the experience of having fur lol. It’s super bulky Lion Brand yarn in the color husky. I used a 9mm hook. I free handed the design as I barely even knew where I was sticking my hook half the time and just needed to make something that would fit his body 😂 but all I did was (attempt) back loop only single crochets for the collar, and then double crochets for the body, with a double crochet, chain one, double crochet in the same stitch for where I was shaping the sleeves.

Y’all this top took some WORK!

I found this pattern sometime last fall I think? And it took me forever to find a yarn that I liked for it before I could even get started. And my goodness, making all these squares was tedious. If I’m being honest with myself, I was only 20% confident I was actually gonna finish this one day. But after months and months it’s finally done and I’m in love with it 🤩

The pattern called for fine yarn, but I used DK with a 3.5mm to size up the final fit!

Made the Dianne top by Yumeijie with sock yarn from Malabrigo (in the color Flavia) and I think I’m converting to a lightweight yarn girly 🤪 I’ve only used light fingering one other time before to make a little purse, so using it on this scale was intimidating. But the color was so pretty I just had to try and honestly I loved it so much!

The pattern was made to measure, so I used a 3.5 mm hook to make my life a little easier as I find my tension tends to be on the tight side.

Made the Zora top by __seratt and I just it so much. I have a hard time keeping my tension from getting too tight, and this was great for practicing looser tension! Plus it worked up so fast which was great cause I’m impatient lol. I wanna make more in more colors 🤩

I used just under 3 hanks of swanky dk yarn from Magpie Fibers in the color Chaos Beaver, and a 5.5mm hook.
