Hey folks,

I'm having a hard time deciding which heavy line I should grind next. I'm torn between the S. Conqueror or E 100 lines. I have zero experience with either (other than the German line to the Tiger I which is not really relevant).

Please keep in mind that I will be playing mostly at tier VIII and IX and I am an average skilled player on a good day.

What immediately jumps out at me is the Conqueror line has pretty low alpha in comparison. At my skill level, I'm usually able to make high alpha tanks work better (I do well in the T30, Grom, etc).

I know next to nothing about the armour of these two lines. I typically do well in a more mobile, hull-down heavy and not so well in something like the Maus that requires constant perfect angling and trigonometry to make work.

Really not sure which to pick and would appreciate some advice. Thanks in advance!!

Seems that they start at 18:00 CEST. Don't forget to tune in folks, seems these two streams are EXTRA OLS Tokens, so if you miss some of the OLS Season 6 streams you may still be able to get enough tokens to get the E 75 TS. This season the tokens are pretty tight - you need 70 for the tank and IIRC there are only 80 potential tokens (plus these extra two 5-token streams). Don't miss out!

I have a well system/septic and a large garden. I'd like to recycle just my bathwater (yes, I'm a man and take baths - leave me alone). It's hundreds of liters of water with of a bit of biodegradable soap and lots of epsom salts (which is literally fertilizer) that would otherwise just get dumped into the septic.

My plan was to run a 2" ABS pipe out to a rain barrel system where I can then recycle it to water my garden, rather than watering my garden with fresh clean water.

The technical question part:
My tentative plan is to split the 2" ABS drain from the tub with a Y, and then use 2" ABS valves like the one pictured. That way in summer I can open the drain to the rain barrel and close the drain to the septic, and vice-versa in winter.

What pitfalls could I run into with this? Please keep in mind that this is ONLY for relatively clean bathwater, and I do have a hair trap in the drain at all times. I realize that this Y and ball valves add complexity and a potential site for clogs but I could put a cleanout nearby?

How would you do this? Is there a better way? Is this feasible or am I crazy?

No, this is not an Ares b*tch thread, more like an Ares player b*tch thread.

I am so sick and tired of my shots being cock-blocked by trigger-happy Ares players.
I've lost count of how many times I've been sitting there in a high-alpha tank like a Jpz. E100, pre-aimed, patiently waiting for where I know an enemy is going to peek from. My finger is on the mouse button ready to obliterate them....

....and the moment A SINGLE PIXEL of the enemy tank is out of cover all of the trigger-happy Ares idiots on my team start rabidly firing at it from across the map with their 50 damage peashooters, causing the enemy to immediately reverse back into safety with no damage taken.

Even a smooth brain should be able to comprehend that if you wait a second until the enemy is out of cover to start firing away with your peashooters you'll actually do damage instead of scaring them back into cover.

I can't see anything in the notification log, or in the "Extra Missions" tab.

Unless the wording is really messed up (which is not uncommon when it comes to WG), this should not just be the "X2 Happy Hour" missions.

This is today's session.
I play tier 8 most of the time, but sometimes I'll drop down to a low tier to knock out a 'destroy 4 tanks in a battle' or 'be top player on your team by experience earned'.

I realize I have average stats at best and am certainly not carrying games, but neither am I throwing games for my team.

Yesterday I had something like 27 games and 7 wins, with a 15+ loss streak. I just wanted to smash my head against my desk.
Each game I play, I play for the objective and do at least my own HP in damage. I average green games, but about 1/4 of the time I'm blue or purple. I'm not waiting for a loss and farming as the enemy team mops us up, I do my best to be active and play for the objective.

I do everything I can to improve at this game. I watch videos and Twitch streams by skilled players like iyouxin, I read about map strategies and game mechanics, I ask questions here whenever there is anything I'm unsure of. I'm actively trying to get better.

And as I get better, my win ratio is going down. I really don't know WTF to do at this point. I've never been this discouraged by a game in my life.

I just feel like there are so many battles that are completely outside the scope of my control. Heavies that snipe from redline while the lone heavy that went to the heavy line gets obliterated and we get steamrolled by uncontested enemy heavies. Lights that aren't spotting - especially on vision-critical maps like Prok - and our team gets systematically farmed by unspotted enemies. Just game after game like that. I'm not a good player but at this point I have enough map and game knowledge to be able to usually know if we're going to lose within the first minute of the game just based on where people are going.

What is most humiliating about this is that there are literal bot players that suicide at the beginning of a battle that have a higher win ratio than I do.

My last week of games were at a roughly 30% win ratio or lower. My stats are steadily improving but my win ratio is going down, and at this amount of games it's getting to a point where I'd need to have like 75% win ratio sessions for weeks just to improve it - which is not going to happen.

I just don't know what to do - if anyone has any advice I'm all ears. It looks like my only options now are to just say f*ck it and ignore win rate entirely, or uninstall.

So I finally got a decent tank for a Personal Gem offer.
I would have been all over this like a fat kid on a cupcake a few months ago when I had no premium medium tanks, however now I have the Stridsyxa, Obj.274a, 122 TM and T42.
The only Polish medium TT tank I have unlocked is the tier V DS PZInz so it has no use as a trainer.

6900 gold is still a pretty good price for a premium and I have Xmas gold left. Would you buy it?

My main concern is its credit earning capability. The standard ammo is abysmal and I feel that all of the reviews highly praising the LIS take it for granted that you're running gold ammo.
If I want to run around with a 100% gold loadout I already have the T42.

I can think of at least three ways that this could easily be remedied with a few keypresses.
The most obvious would be to make anything with bots below tier VI not count towards stats.

I've dragged several new players into WoT and this is the gameplay that greets them. The last one quit after a string of being farmed by stat-padding sealclubbers and leFHs and asked me why anyone would play this toxic game.

On one hand people complain that giving new players free tier X unlocks is responsible for the state of high tier MM. Well, this is their alternative.

Can we actually get a Wargaming rep's response as to whether this is WG's intended state of low-tier gameplay?
