[COI General] about the world of shadows

So this means the Shadow World and the Mirror World have several things in common?

Considering their ability to communicate, it must mean the Shadow World has more applications than simply summoning creatures.

They should add a flair for those who are believers in a god or members of a church,

perhaps even showing their status within it, like the pope or cardinal.

[Lotm General] Apotheosis of the Hanged Man

Finally, I'm going to perform my apotheosis ritual, where I'll have to walk on the Sea of Chaos and dissolve my shadow within it (enter the LotM fanfic community on Ao3 and accumulate as much corruption as possible; I'll be linking to some I've read, so discretion is advised).

While I stood on the shore, I glimpsed the Sea of Chaos, a chaotic liquid that seemed to encompass all colors. I couldn't help but think it resembled an oil slick on black water. I also noticed that it seemed to have a life of its own, as if it wanted to rise to the surface and corrupt everything in its path.

As I drew closer, I could feel its corruption contaminating my body. Luckily, I had great control over my flesh and blood, and I could also expel some of the corruption influencing my mind with my authority over Degeneration. However, I had to be quick, so I jumped and took the first step into the Sea of Chaos. I used my embodiment of darkness and my authority over shadows to walk on it without sinking. as I let my shadow will be cast upon the sea of chaos

At that moment, I could clearly feel the Sea of Chaos trying to assimilate me. My mind was contaminated with corrupt thoughts, and my skin and flesh were continuously peeling away, transforming into something else. I had to form armor to resist a little longer, while I continually transformed part of the Sea of Chaos's influence into depraved shadows and divided my actions with my other two bodies to reduce the corrupting influence, but it still wasn't enough.

I could barely maintain steady steps as I tried not to sink beneath this chaotic sea that seemed to want to swallow me whole. I could only continue until I felt I had fulfilled the requirements. I couldn't help but think that this ritual was suicide to awaken the primordial, almighty...

However, my shadow bore the brunt of it. Without any protection, the Sea of Chaos acted like a pool of acid against a sheet of metal. The pain was unbearable. I had to continually reshape it so that it wouldn't completely dissolve into the Sea of Chaos.

Each step was more difficult than the last... Previously, I had lost all track of time. My mind was filled with terrifying ramblings, and my body felt like it was going to collapse. If it weren't for my experience in previous sequences, listening to the ramblings of terrifying beings and controlling my body to prevent it from decomposing into a pile of flesh, I would have already lost control and been assimilated by the Sea of Chaos.

After what seemed like an eternity, I felt I formed a connection with the Sea of Chaos, making its influence a little more manageable than before. If before I felt like I was drowning in the vast sea, now I felt like I had a life preserver with me.

However, I also felt that if I stayed longer, I might be able to form a stronger connection with the Sea of Chaos, allowing me to use the powers of the other pathways beneath it. My heart couldn't help but feel a craving for more power... No, I banished that thought. That would only make me more susceptible to losing control and awakening the primordial, all-powerful god. Surely this feeling was part of his arrangements to revive me.

I quickly began preparing my Potion, I extracted the two Dark Angel characteristics (I want to especially thank u/Old_Lie1947 for clearing the path for me to become the Hanged Man and u/MrDeltaXII). Then I placed the singularity I had on my head; it manifested as a crown of thorns stained with blood. It decomposed with the two sets of Sequence 9 to 1 and quickly converged into my body. Once I saw this, I manifested the Shadow World so that it would assimilate with the other ingredients. Thanks to being in the Sea of Chaos, the entire Shadow World was able to converge with the potion. Once finished, a potion appeared made of a shadow of absolute darkness that seemed to isolate the surrounding light.

The Hanged Man's Potion

Once I consumed it, all the shadows in the world seemed to come to life. I was also able to understand the essence of the ritual. It is necessary to establish a connection with the Sea of Chaos because it is part of the intrinsic power of the path, which is why it is able to manifest Traces of the Sea of Chaos

From this is born the Hanged Man

He who possesses knowledge of countless secrets

The embodiment of the filth and degeneration of all living beings

[Coi general] Does stealing really counteract grazing?

If the shepherd is using a shepherded soul, even if it's stolen, it shouldn't cause them to lose control because the ability can still be used.

They would only lose control if they weren't using shepherding.

[Coi General] People greatly underestimate the listener sequence

Considering how vague CF was in describing this sequence, it is my duty as the greatest representative of this path to clear his reputation.

It's important to note that from Sequence 9 onward, they are capable of detecting the gaze of the outer gods, even discerning rituals and the essence of how they function. Their ability will be significantly enhanced in Sequence 8.

Considering this, they should acquire abilities similar to the Hermit's Vision, which would be seeing through illusions or beings with spirituality.

It's very likely that the abilities they can learn will be similar to a weakened version of the Contractor.

Taking this into account, they should also have had an increase in their resistance to corruption in order to obtain abilities from secret entities without dying instantly.

Perhaps the path of the Hanged Man is dangerous, but it's definitely not a weak one. Everyone highlights Sequence 5, but from Sequence 8 onward, their great potential in combat is shown.

Is it simply a greater resistance to corruption that allows him to use his abilities, or is it related to some authority?
