[Lotm v8] souls shepherded with greater synergy in each sequence of the Hanged Man
Sequence 5
- Specter: Their synergy is terrifying; they can simply enter a person's body in specter form and devour both soul and body using their Shepherd powers. Controlling the specter might even eliminate the need for substitutes.
- Nightmare: They can bypass the need to sleep by putting only the soul to sleep, rather than the Shepherd.
- Dawn Paladin: They can conjure armor that remains active even if they stop utilizing that specific soul.
- Hypnotist: Following the same logic as the Nightmare soul, since the soul itself wields the power, one could attack enemies while maintaining psychological invisibility; the effect wouldn't break upon the intent to attack.
Sequence 4
- Iron-Blood Knight: They can distribute damage among their shepherded souls and summoned shadows, or concentrate it on themselves. Their Degeneration Sword would deal more lethal damage, and they could use the "Flame-to-Steel" transformation to withstand purification-based attacks.
- Marionette: They suffer no damage from curses inflicted via the marionette, making it a powerful tool for quickly restraining or even eliminating enemies.
- Manipulator: They can induce degeneration in enemies, causing them to take even more damage from the Black Knight's degeneration attacks; additionally, the ability to temporarily assume a mythical creature form is excellent for close-quarters combat.
Sequence 3
- War Bishop: This is where the synergy becomes somewhat ridiculous; they can now share the powers of their shepherded souls and summoned shadows with one another.
- Frenzied Mage: What can I say? It is simply too versatile; its abilities allow it to handle a wide range of situations, weakening the enemy with bribes, distorting attacks, and magnifying powers, while this sequence enables interference with fate through disorder.
- Chaos Walker: I include this because it also holds authority over disorder; plus, a bit of luck always comes in handy.
Sequence 2
- Balancer: By using Profane Language, they could magnify enacted laws even further.
- Bloody Archduke: They would become much harder to kill by using Seeds of Malice; they could also prevent enemies from reviving to some extent, while enhancing their power over flesh and blood.
- Life-Giver: I believe the ability to create life would combine well with the authority over flesh and blood; furthermore, it could increase the Profane Presbyter's corruption and their power over shadows.
Sequence 1
- Hand of God: Capable of borrowing power from the Sea of Chaos to a certain degree; this would facilitate the Sequence 0 ritual by helping them adapt to that power.
- Conqueror: Offers the ultimate destructive power; additionally, the act of sacrifice would strengthen their connection to the Sea of Chaos.
Sequence 0
Shepherding other gods beneath the Sea of Chaos to demonstrate power akin to that of the omnipotent Primordial God.
