TIL Goalkeepers don’t need to be registered in EFL 1 and 2
Bit of a pet peeve but....
....the ability scale in PES is too top heavy.
For example 40-60 dribbling feels like 70 dribbling, 70 dribbling feels like you're controlling Neymar. And at 80+, the dribbling becomes so snappy, you can't even do a body feint.
40-60 passing? You're fit to play Barca tiki-taka. 80+? Funny enough not much different.
After a while I can't stand controlling a team full of 80+ overall. For me 65-75 is closest to irl world-class.
Love Deadline Day and the panic buys! Funny how agents suddenly uncover players your scouts somehow never knew existed.
FM26 rates female footballers too highly?
There are just so many players sitting at 180/190+ CA/PA. They’re incredible footballers, but the women’s game is improving every year, and the next generation will almost certainly be even better, so it’s a shame SI left so little room for future growth.
I do think SI does rate men footballers way too highly also, especially the top 30. World class performers don't always directly correlate to high ability.
What do you think?
I've gone through cycles of booting up Bannerlord, then putting it down after a few weeks because the pointless grind just start to get sickening.
After a long break, I feel like playing again, but I need a more believable world, that is complex and compact. Perhaps something like Brytenwalda/Viking Conquest, where the scale of conflict and speed of progression make more sense.
Doesn't matter if it's Warband or Bannerlord. While even though franchises like LOTR, Star Wars, and GoT have many well known mods, I’m not very familiar with their original material—but I’m keen to give them a go if the quality is there.
