Everglades tomato

Ok- I have been trying to grow these for several months. Finally figured out how to get them to germinate. But now they keep dying on me.

The second photo is one next to it that I transplanted at the same time and in the same bed.

I have them in mostly gardening soil. I think I am watering them properly. We are starting to finally get rain every day or two. They are in full sun. They start to flower and then this happens. This is the third one that did this. Any thoughts of what could be happening?

Seminole Pumpkin Harvest ?

Newbie Florida gardener here.

My seminole pumpkins are looking great, but I have a question about when to harvest them for long term storage.

This is a photo of how the majority of them look.

This is the final color for this variety, but I don’t see any corking starting on the stems. It has been almost 2 weeks. They are firm and can handle the nail test.

. Do I need to just be patient, or is there a way to harvest and cure them for long term storage without waiting for corking? Or am I wrong that they will start corking?
