I remember as a kid growing up losing countless balls into the sewer drains in my neighborhood and just today I was wondering with my brother what the hell happens to all of those? Surly I’m not the only person who’s ever lost plenty a ball to the sewer beast. And I’m assuming after heavy rains those will flush down the system. Do they eventually land in a water treatment center or do they just flush out into a river somewhere that probably holds thousands of random baseballs and such?
