Searching for Skillbridge Options in Cybersecurity?
A lot of folks here are asking about real SkillBridge options for pivoting into cyber/IT, so I wanted to share what we’re doing at F3USA in case it helps.
F3USA is a veteran‑founded 501(c)(3) that runs a DoD‑authorized, 10‑week cybersecurity SkillBridge program for active‑duty members within 180 days of separation. The training is full‑time, live‑virtual, and focused on building a practical foundation in IT and cybersecurity while you’re still on active duty.
Over those 10 weeks, participants get instructor‑led training, hands‑on labs, and preparation aligned with certifications like Security+, Linux+, and Splunk, along with support on resumes, interviews, and connecting to employers hiring for cyber and IT roles. There is no tuition cost for eligible service members approved under SkillBridge, and the program is designed so you can participate from your current duty station.
If you’re inside your 180‑day SkillBridge window (or getting close) and think a structured cyber/IT path might be a fit, check out the program details on the F3USA site and submit an interest/application form so we can review your timeline and eligibility. You can also comment or DM this account if you’d rather talk it through first.
