Working in Paris (tech)
Hi I am french (f34) born & raised in Paris but have been living in Japan for more than half of my life.
I have never worked in France and recently I have been thinking about moving back to Paris for a year or 2 because I want my son (half japanese) to experience his culture.
My husband (Japanese) is a backend data SWE, and we both work in tech here in Japan (although I’m not an engineer).
Our salary combined, we earn about what we could consider to be around 150k euros per year (before taxes).
The only thing I am worried when it comes to moving back to France about is to lose my quality of life when it comes to the income and purchase power.
I was wondering how are the salaries in Paris within tech industry?
Would it be hard to find a SWE job for my husband who doesn’t speak a word of French (he is native english and japanese tho).
If anyone here has the experience of moving back to France I am verrry eager to hear about it :)
