He's at Meta now. Do you think if enough of us emailed him maybe he could convince Mark Zuckerberg to fund some AI studies? I know Facebook hasn't being doing so great financially lately.
1 crap study on my dash and most of the day just 1 or 2 at the very most. I was working today but would check my phone a lot. Also. not a single AI study I saw. Yesterday only had a couple AI studies show up. On the other forum most say only getting a couple AI studies a day, not like before this latest fuck up.
Do you think they're throttling the AI studies on purpose now where you only get a few? I filled out a few more of the new about me and I'm wondering if I FUBARed my account demographics.
Seeing a lot of this shit lately. Studies paying under $5 USD per hour. Prolific is more concerned about flooding the website with scammers and bad data than cracking down on abuse from researches. Another example is TONS of researchers are sneaking in a lot of writing for low pay and not using the writing label. This started when Prolific rolled out the writing label.
What does this do to your account. The study I took had an estimated time of 25 mins by SR. Don't want to say full name and details of study because I think it's NDA but you know what I mean. Screens you out 90 percent of the time but pays .25 to .50 for screen out.
Anyway, it has two parts, first part multiple choice, and the second part was the recorded interview version. I did all 34 questions and hit submit. It never had part two, but also didn't say I was screened out when I submitted it like it usually does. I then got a speed warning saying if it continues they will temporary restrict access.
Never had this issue before. When you don't get to do the interview part it redirects you back and pays a screener instantly. I returned it, didn't want to take any chances of a rejection even though I got plenty of approvals to pad me.
I work at the shop all day on Sat so can only sneak a few phone studies in. IT was slow during the day but made up for it in the evening and ended up doing $34. A few AI popped up and able to snag them just in time. I would like to do $40 on a Sat and $40 or $50 on a sun night like I was doing. It's slower, but when the AI was going nuts I was able to do a bit over $700 in one week! Hopefully I can hit $500 this week.
Prolific still has way too many users. Hopefully that gets trimmed down to 300k.
I'm assuming because of June 19th? No AI studies today and just some crappy low pay stuff pops up from time to time. Yesterday was slow too until around 1pm and I was able to get a lot of AI started popping up.
Anyone else end up having to return this for failed attention check? As soon as I submitted it I got a message asking me to return it due to failed attention check! The question was to simply select number 5 which I did. A lot of times it's a researcher who made an mistake when making the study and they will award you the pay when you ask them. Many times it's the researcher trying to gather free data.
