Looking for fun recruit night ideas

Hello fellow scouters. Our troop is looking to revamp our recruiting night activities. So, would love to hear any FUN activities do with your troops, have heard about, or seeing other troops do. I was thinking fire starting where the recruits can actually light the fires. Ending the night with s’mores around the fire. Maybe have the recruits do some cooking (IE Dutch oven desserts or guacamole), fireman carry is always a fun one but makes me nervous that somebody’s going to get hurt. Anyway you get the idea, looking to up our recruitment percentage. Thanks in advance for your time

Legal Documents needed for children Over 18?

I keep hearing how you should get the following legal documents for your child once they turn 18. Is anyone doing this? If yes, are you getting the forms for free online (If yes, Where?) or are you going through an attorney or a service like Mama Bear Legal?

Medical Power of Attorney

Advanced Health Care Directive

Financial Power of Attorney

Will

HIPPA Release

Thank you in advance for your time.

Use provided desk chair or bring your own?

What percentage of students bring their own desk chair from home versus just using the provided chair? I assume the desk chairs are just wooden and probably uncomfortable, but I may be wrong. Thank you in advance for all your comments
