Why does it seem like nearly every game now tries to blow your eardrums out with deafening default audio settings?
I feel like this is the case for 9.9 times out of 10 when I purchase a new game. Install, boot for the first time, then proceed to take my headset off until I can get to the game settings.
Sure, I have great hearing but I am quite literally taking the master game volume slider from 100 to 30, 20, sometimes even 10. What is this? Why is this a common practice? *Am I the weird one?*
