Teen Emotion Skills Training Group through Florida State University
The FSU Psychology Clinic is currently offering evidence-based treatment for teens ages 13-17 who struggle with with any or all of the following: impulsive or reckless behaviors; intense emotions; rocky relationships; self-injury; thoughts of suicide.
About Teen Emotion Skills Training (TEST) Group:
- TEST Group is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills training for adolescents. It is an evidence-based treatment that focuses on changing problematic thoughts, feelings, and behaviors by providing teens with skills to navigate challenging situations.
Group Information and Requirements:
- Weekly 90-minute sessions conducted in person at the FSU Psychology Clinic
- Cost: $12 per session, no insurance accepted or required
- Screening appointment to determine eligibility required
