List of 21 officiating errors this season that could easily add 12-18 points for Spurs

Found this on a Facebook post. Couldn't believe that multiple of these were admited as errors by key match panel but it still happening. Whether there's any conspiracy behind this season results or not, it's clear we would not be in the relegation battle if we are treated fairly.

Post:

There’s no doubt that Spurs have been awful this season. However, there’s absolutely no doubt that Spurs have been refereed differently than other clubs. Here’s a list of 21 very serious officiating errors that would easily have given Spurs an additional 12-18 points. Jarred Gillett is responsible for 5 of those errors!

  1. Leeds (H) Maddison is fouled in the box. Penalty not given despite the defender not getting anywhere near the ball. (Gillett)

  2. Newcastle (A) Dan Burn fouls Bentancur by getting him in a headlock. The ref weirdly gives Newcastle a penalty!. (Bramall)

  3. Arsenal (H) Muani touches Gabriels back before scoring a goal to make it 2-2. Ref disallows the goal for no apparent reason. (Bankes)

  4. Man City (H) Ref fails to award Rodri a second yellow for a high challenge. The Key Match incidents panel states that this is an error by the referee. (Jones)

  5. Man Utd (A) Solanke is slammed to the floor by Martinez, WWE style. The ref & VAR completely miss the incident. (Oliver)

  6. Liverpool (A) Van Dijk fouls Richarlison when he’s the last man. No penalty or sending off given, presumably because its LiVARpool. (England)

  7. Sunderland (A) Udogie is in front of his defender and is through on goal. He’s hacked down and absolutely nothing is given. (Jones)

  8. Liverpool (A) Romero is given an additional one match ban for “failure to leave the pitch” after getting sent off. He was on the pitch for a mere seventeen seconds!. (England)

  9. Leeds (H) Ampadu elbows Maddison in the head and horribly fouls Palhinha. No yellow card is given apart from one to De Zerbi for complaining!. (Gillett)

  10. Sunderland (A) Failure to award Brian Brobby with a second yellow card for his foul on Romero. The Key Match incidents panel states that this is an error by the referee. (Jones)

  11. Brentford (A) Failure to award Spurs a penalty for a foul on Gray. The Key Match incidents panel states that this is an error by the referee. (Madley)

  12. Chelsea (H) Fernandez fouls Palhinha with a horribly late and high challenge. Ref and VAR fail to give one of the clearest red cards you will ever see. (Gilett)

  13. West Ham (A) Referee disallows a perfectly good Van Der Van goal for no apparent reason. The West Ham defenders actually push Romero, who then falls over. (Gilett)

  14. Fulham (A) Failure to disallow a Fulham goal for a clear foul by Jiminez on Dragusin. (Bramall)

  15. Liverpool (H) Xavi sent off for a foul despite Phil Foden and Hwang Hee-Chan not getting sent off in the same game week for far worse challenges. (Brookes)

  16. West Ham (H) Clear handball in the box by Ollie Scarles with his hand in an unnatural position. Ref fails to give the most nailed on penalty you will ever see. (Gillet)

  17. Sunderland (H) Brobbey (yep him again in a different game) commits 2 nasty fouls on Porro. He should have been sent off. The ref messes up and Brobbey then scores the equalising goal. (Atwell)

  18. Liverpool (H) Failure to disallow a Liverpool goal for a clear foul by Ekitike on Romero. Again, this is presumably because its LiVARpool. (Brookes)

  19. Man Utd (A) Romero sent off for a foul on Casemeiro. There were far worse fouls that game week by Brian Brobbey (yep him again) & Diogo Dalot where no red card was given. (Oliver)

  20. Chelsea (A) – Delap elbows Spence in the head. Error by ref who failed to give a red card. (Atwell)

  21. Chelsea (A) – Blatant foul by Cuccurella on Van Der Ven with the ball clearly in play. Error by ref who failed to give a penalty. (Atwell)

Not to mention other long term injuries to Romero (knee), Kudus, Davies and Kulusevski (knee).

Others that will probably be out for the season as well: Solanke, Vicario.

Even if we stay up, next season will still be tough one.
