Les Schwab letting go of 15-20% of HQ staff

70 employees are being let go at the headquarters in Bend. Interesting change considering how vocal Les always was about his employees being second to only his wife and kids. Guess this was bound to happen after the company moved hands from family owned to private equity. Anyone think this could be a canary in the coal mine for the broader Bend economy and corporate/office jobs?
