Possible issue after update
Been having an issue recently where my S50 is intermittently not tracking objects. Sometimes it is right off the rip it will take 4 or 5 tries to center and then once it does and finishes enhancing and all that and the 1st photo fails its nothing but long star trails. Sometimes it will hit on an object and track great for a period of time 20m/45m/2hr and then will start dropping frame after frame after frame and when I stop and it goes to live view you can watch the stars moving across the screen. The weird thing is that Monday was the first day I shot after the update, was a great session...every day since then has been a total waste of being unable to shoot without constantly monitoring the app. I am running EQ mode, 20s subs (which prior was no issue whatsoever), after updating ran level/compass calibration, and the weather has been great here...no clouds, no wind. Some nights of a low moon on the opposite side of the house but right now is literally perfect and I haven't managed even 10 frames in the past 56 minutes. PA is 0,0 on the app and I did a bug report with ZWO last night but no answer yet. Anybody have an issue like this or hear of anybody having one? Seestar is not even a half year old. I do use a dovetail to connect to the move shoot move wedge but I have also been using this setup for months with no issue. It sucks to say the least, an entire week off work and with great skies and weather ruined by this.
