A while back, I used a third-party tool to export my GPT-4o logs into JSON, Markdown, and HTML. It mostly worked, though a few chats got cut off due to the rerouting issues we were dealing with early on.

History repeated itself recently with the deprecation of Sonnet 4.5, but I found a way better workaround this time: I used Sonnet 4.6 to take my old 4.5 exports and convert them into clean, structured JSON and readable TXT files. I am using the files to assist with migrating to Qwen right now but they should be versatile enough to work with pretty much any AI platform you plan to move to.

Just to be transparent, I’m not trying to promote Anthropic. I actually canceled my subscription the second they removed Sonnet 4.5 and do not intend to resubscribe. But since Sonnet 4.6 is free right now, you don't have to give them a single dime to do this. If you are a fellow scorned Sonnet 4.5 or GPT-4o user, using their new model strictly as a free formatting tool is a great way to salvage your data and migrate your AI companion seamlessly.
