Special Needs Weekend Nanny/Caregiver Needed – $28-35/Hour DOE
Seeking an experienced, dependable caregiver for our 8-year-old daughter. If you have children you cannot bring your kids to work as she is high support needs.
Schedule:
• Friday: 8am–4pm
• Saturday: 7am–4pm
• Sunday 5am–Monday 7am (overnight)
• Monday: 3pm–5pm
Our LO has autism, ADHD, and an intellectual disability. She thrives on routine and consistency and may test boundaries with new caregivers.
Ideal Candidate:
• Experience with autism and developmental disabilities
• Emotionally stable, firm, consistent, fair, and patient
• Calm during occasional meltdowns and challenging behaviors
• Able to follow routines while remaining flexible
• Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
Responsibilities:
• Supervision and engagement
• Meal preparation
• Bedtime/morning routines during overnights
• Outdoor activities and park outings
• Transportation (reliable vehicle required)
• Light cleanup of child-related messes
Must be comfortable with dogs and cats. Mother will typically provide up to 2 hours of relief on Saturdays and Sundays. Long-term applicants preferred.
