The Wubbox Dilemma
Just to be clear, I'm a bit more on the Ethereal Wubbox side, but this is just something I thought of that could deny both claims
Personally I’m fond of the conclusion that Wubbox being a replacement of the actual hex, or at least an artificial version, as the actual hex is undiscovered or extinct. I still wish they release a sixth element ethereal inspired by wubbox and be on Fire Haven, Oasis, Ethereal Island, and have their meebs on Workshop.
