How are enterprises handling Salesforce MFA for QA/testing without shared accounts?
With Salesforce enforcing MFA (including phishing-resistant MFA for admins), we’re trying to rethink how QA/testing is handled.
Earlier we relied a lot on shared accounts for testing and device-based scenarios, but that’s no longer viable with MFA.
Curious how others are dealing with this in real-world setups:
- Are you creating named users for each tester?
- How are you handling large QA teams at scale?
- What are you doing for automation (Selenium/Copado etc.)?
- Any approach for sandbox logins post-refresh?
Would really appreciate any practical insights or patterns that have worked.
