Canadian economy

Canada is not in a recession, and a little bit of slowdown in the economy, and it will pick up again. The major projects are happening and foreign investors see Canada as a stable and reliable business partner. Canada as a growing economy with well trained workforce that meets the challenges with what we can control. It is the right direction and keep moving forward Canada.

Electricity

The liberal government and Prime Minister Mark Carney are interested in expanding the electrical grid from east to west, not just north and south, where it stands now. AI uses electricity, and demand for it will increase. Also, electricity keeps Canadians connected. Rural areas must have access to the same services that their urban counterparts enjoy.

LNG project

LNG projects from private investment from Germany and partnerships with Indigenous communities are an excellent source of revenue for the government. If the Liberal government wants to support major social programs like health care, dental care, and child care, it needs more revenue-generating projects. I like the Liberal government led by Mark Carney because its strategy is to make money to support our social programs and balance the budget.

Skill trades

Apprenticeship programs in skilled trades are good for promoting the home-building industry in Canada. It is a good way for young people to gain employment. It is, however, still a male-dominated industry. It is important to create work opportunities for young women as well.

Alberta

When Donald Trump stated that Canada is the 51st state and Alberta's separation is not right, Alberta disagreed with Justin Trudeau's green initiatives. However, Mark Carney supports both conventional and clean energy. While the past cannot be changed, we have control over our future. Alberta has a bright future within Canada. This is the time to work together for all.

Housing

In Canada, housing prices are high. Modular factory-built houses are good. When there is a surplus of houses, I believe housing prices will come down. It is supply and demand that work here.

CUSMA

CUSMA deadline is coming on JULY 01st, 2026. If one party leaves the CUSMA deal, the deal is over. It is wise to build coalitions with stakeholders. Canada has removed the digital tax and has refunded over $148 million to 30 USA-based companies. Let's use this as a tool for leverage. Because AI is a new field, we have a good chance that this might work in our favour.

A balanced approach

Canada needs to find a balance between economic progress and environmental responsibility. All major projects referred for review have passed the necessary assessments. The "one project, one review" approach is beneficial. If a project takes too long to gain approval, it can become irrelevant in a rapidly changing world. Acting quickly allows us to deliver results for Canadians now.
