My 4th trip to Japan and a 1st for my friends and their kids. Planning a trip to Hokkaido. Here’s our rough outline, would love feedback and off beat recommendations.

Nikka Whisky Distillery and Fruit Picking (Yoichi)
Flower Fields (Furano and Biei)
Hikes - Mount Tarumae + Mount Moiwa Moerenuma Park (Sapporo Outskirts)
Asahiyama Zoo (Asahikawa)
Sapporo Beer Museum
Sumo show Lake Toya or Lake Shikotsu Hill of the Buddha
Food related: Milk & ice cream - Kinotoya Bake (Pole Town or Sapporo Station),
Snow Brand Parlor (Yukijirushi)
Izakayas & Food - Daruma, Soup Curry Garaku, Meme Otaru - LeTAO Main Store, Kitaichi Glass No. 3 Café, Sushiya-dori (Sushi Street), Otaru Renga Yokocho (Brick Alley)
Esim:
I normally use either a Maya or Airalo esim. Thinking of sticking to Maya, any other recommendations?
