Chicken or the egg problem: depression and fatigue F23

I’ve posted here relentlessly about a newfound fatigue I’ve been having for a few weeks at this point. It’s honestly making me suicidal. I don’t want to mention this to the doctor I see this week as I worry they will ascribe all my problems to depression. Here are the details:

  • sleeping between 14-16 hours a day
  • take abilify (10mg) and psychiatrist wants me to have a work up because she doesn’t think abilify would cause this
  • Have around 300-400mg of caffeine and some nicotine a day to stay awake.
  • Eating normally. Normal BMI. Trying to exercise semi-regularly despite the fatigue.
  • Am now suicidal
  • Was sick with a horrid sore throat before this started

Im going to the doctor this week. Is it possible to discern before that whether the fatigue caused the depression or if the depression is resulting from the fatigue?

I feel like something is really wrong

I’m so sleepy. I slept practically through the entire long weekend. Now I have to work and it was like pulling teeth staying up til 7PM. I’m praying I will wake up tomorrow by 9 AM. Is this normal in a young adult? I’m eating plenty forcing myself to exercise a tiny bit stare at the sun do everything I can do to stay up. I had over 500mg of caffeine today to cope and I’m exhausted still.

Is this what adulthood is supposed to be like? If I am not asleep I’m sobbing because I don‘t have time for anything. I’m F23 5’2 120lbs

Sleeping 15 hours a day

I work a job this amount of sleep is unsustainable. All I want to do is sleep. I’m 22F and have anxiety and bipolar disorder but I don’t feel particularly depressed right now.

What could this even be?
