Do pets actually give a considerable amount of cp to formations similar to vehicle chips?

I need help from fellow mid level whales on a budget
So I'm planning on only spending around $100 a week whats some things I should allocate towards to keep my formations on a steady growth cycle I got all heroes from season 1-5 to 5 star equipment and only the season 6 fighter hero to level 5 equipment due to me slacking here lately is it possible to level all my new heros that release on $100 a week and still grow steady any tips tricks etc?
