Does Having a Great Idea Matter More Than Execution When Raising Funding?

When it comes to startup funding, what do you think matters more: the idea itself or the ability to execute it? I’ve seen people say that even an average idea can succeed if the team executes it well, while others believe that a unique and innovative concept is the main factor investors care about. It also makes me wonder how investors evaluate this in the early stages when there isn’t much traction yet. Do they focus more on the founder’s background and skills, or do they try to predict the future potential of the idea? And how much risk are investors actually willing to take on something that hasn’t been proven yet?
