I am moving into a new apartment and the landlord has mentioned it in my contract that I need to pay the entire deposit all at once a few days prior to the move. But I remember reading that the german law gives you the right to pay it in 3 instalments. Is this true? Or is the statement in the contract binding? I tried asking my landlord but he insists that I pay it in one go

I don’t think you would be reading this but if you do, you stole my package from my door step today. By now you know whats in it - A bubble wrap.

I request you, please return it as soon as you can. I don’t see any benefit you obtain from it but for me it is very important as I need it to pack a gift for my best friend and send it to her before her birthday.
