so basically since i was a kid my mom has practically been relaxing my hair every time i got it braided( which is pretty much all the time since i like it in braids) it was up until 8th grade when i sat her down and talked about how i want to embrace my hair in its natural state and she said it was okay so i had basically just shaved everything off and restarted, now im in my sophomore year and my hair seems to be doing better and feels healthier but now mom and sisters are pressuring me to get it relax or else they won’t pay for me to get it done, they’re saying its bc whenever i get my hair done it get rougher quicker like around the twoo week mark and it would be better kept if i relaxed it, now idk what to do bc ik how my hair is when its relaxed and i have a trip coming up and i want to try passion twist but i cant if they don’t pay for it💔
