So one day, I was just in mine and my fiancée’s room while she was talking to my sister in the other room. I was chilling and playing my game (this happened recently). I was switching back and forth between Ready or Not and Resident Evil Village. I looked over at our bed because our dog, Callie, who is a beagle, was growling. I figured she was growling at our other dog, Dallas, but when I looked over, she was just staring at our open door and growling.

When I looked at the door, I saw a shadow looking directly at me, and when it noticed I was looking, it swooshed away. It freaked me out so bad that I went to tell my sister and my fiancée what happened. After a couple of minutes, I went back into the room and continued playing my game.

My fiancée came in and asked me, “Who were you talking to?” I told her no one, and she kept saying, “I literally heard you talking on the game.” I kept telling her no, I was perfectly quiet. Then she said, “Oh, maybe it’s your turn to get mimic.”

I was talking to her while she was standing there about Ready or Not, and when she was about to sit on the bed, we both looked at the wall and saw a shadow go right by us. She looked at me in a panic and said, “Babe, I’m scared.” Ngl, that was kinda cute, so I got in the bed with her until we went to sleep.

Also, it’s been a minute since something happened in the house. I wonder what made it decide to start doing stuff again. But that’s my story.

So in part 1, I mentioned that my house is from the 1980s. An old lady used to live here, but she passed away—and I believe she still remains in this house today.

One time, I was cooking dinner for me and my girl, and I heard her yell, “BAAABE!” I went in there to see what she wanted, and she said, “I didn’t say anything.” So I figured I must’ve been hearing things and went back to cooking.

Then, about three minutes later: “BAAAABE!”

I went back in and asked, “Did you yell for me, or am I trippin’?”

She said, “You’re hearing things, lol. I didn’t say nothing.”

So I went back to cooking again. Another three minutes later: “BAAABE!”

This time I went in there smiling and said, “Are you just messing with me?”

She said, “I’m not saying anything, babe, I promise. I’ve been glued to my phone watching Kevin Lange—or however you spell it.”

At that point, I got a little spooked. I started thinking maybe this old lady’s spirit was mimicking voices.

Also, this was maybe one or two years ago, and I’ve got another story.

I was talking to my nephew and his wife, and all of the sudden his wife just randomly said “YEAH BABE” and I asked “why did you say that lol” she said “you didn’t hear her yell for you” I went to go see if she did and she didn’t and my nephews wife looked at me and said “don’t talk about it last thing we need to do is talk about it”

My brother was a ghost hunter. He ran a crew with his friends called Paulding Paranormal Society. He made three movies, not big ones or anything, just for the downtown theater.

He told me a story one time about when him and his friend went to the oldest cemetery in our town, called White Oak Cemetery. There are settlers buried there, and rumors around town say there’s a witch buried there too.

They pulled up and started getting their equipment out of the car when they heard something running in the woods. When they turned around, they saw candles lit in a circle, and in the middle was a black robe. He picked it up—and let me just say, there have been multiple reports of satanic rituals being performed there. Like, the police actually have to patrol it now.

Then they saw a white figure in the woods just run and disappear.

He said they weren’t spooked (BS), but more confused about what just happened. After that, they started setting up their equipment—cameras, a voice recorder that could pick up something as small as a Skittle dropping from five feet away, a spirit box, and some kind of dotted laser (I never really knew what that was for).

They turned on the spirit box, and immediately something came through saying “satanic” and that multiple people were watching them.

They were supposed to stay there for two hours, but because of all the warnings, they only stayed for one. As they were leaving down the long gravel road, his friend said he saw three people in robes sitting in the woods.

He’s got a bunch more stories—I’ll share them later—but that’s all for now.

This first one might be a little TMI, but it was around 8 AM. I had just woken up, and y’all know that feeling when your stomach starts cramping because you gotta go really bad? Yeah… that happened to me.

So I went into the bathroom, just scrolling through my phone, when I heard really loud scratching coming from the bathtub. I opened the shower curtain—nothing was there. But the scratching didn’t stop.

So I said, “Can that please stop, whatever it is?”

And it stopped.

That’s when I got a little suspicious, because it stopped exactly when I asked it to. So I said, “Do it again.”

And the scratching started again.

Then I said, “Stop.”

And it stopped.

I didn’t think too much of it at the time—it could’ve been some kind of animal under the house—but it still sticks with me.

Another story: I was taking a shower and had just finished washing my hair when something flicked the hell out of the shower curtain. Like hard enough to actually scare me. I looked up and saw what looked like a figure run into the bathroom closet.

I just stood there frozen for a second.

Then my fight-or-flight kicked in. I turned off the water as fast as I could and ran out of the bathroom and into my fiancée’s and my bedroom—completely naked, water dripping everywhere.

She looked at me and asked what happened. I told her, and she just started laughing… probably because I’m standing there scared, naked, and soaked 😂

But yeah… I’ve been thinking about getting cameras inside the house to see if I can catch anything. What do y’all think?

Oh—and sorry again if this was TMI. And I’ll put out more stories!

The house we live in today is from the 1980s, and an old woman used to live here before us, but she passed away from old age. When the family got settled in, strange things apparently started happening. Let me go ahead and say I wasn’t born just yet, but I’ve experienced my own paranormal things in this house.

Everyone started having dreams about her. My sister said she was screaming at her, but there was no sound, and her hair kept going in and out of her head. My father, who DOESN’T believe in ghosts, said he had a dream about her too. He was asleep on the couch, and she was hovering above him, screaming at him to get out of her house.

My mom, who is very religious, sat on her bed one day and could feel her presence—not see her or anything—but she just knew she was there. My mom told her, “This is our home. We bought it with our money that we saved. We plan to stay here until we retire and pass. I’m sorry for what happened to you, but you have to understand this is our home now.”

Ever since that happened, things started to calm down. Little things would happen here and there—chairs moving, the stove turning on, the sink turning on—until I was born. When I was born, nothing would happen at all. Everyone realized when there were kids or babies around, the old spirit woman wouldn’t do anything.

My mom once saw her standing by my crib, just looking at me—not hateful, but like she was happy to see a newborn.

Then fast forward to 2019. My sister got a divorce, and she lived in a big house. Our dad didn’t want her to be alone in such a big place, so he asked me, “Would you stay with your sister so she’s not alone?” I agreed.

Then in 2023, our father passed away, and we didn’t want our mom to be alone. So we sold the house and moved back in with our mother… and then everything started happening again.

The lights would flicker. Everyone started having dreams about her again. At one point, when we were all talking about it, the power cut off, then back on, then off again—and you could hear the breaker being switched.

One time, I was fixing my mom’s laptop at the kitchen table, and three of my cats were watching me. Then all of a sudden, I heard something singing from under the house—and all the cats’ heads slowly turned toward where it was coming from. I went pale.

Another time, I walked into my room and my fiancée was asleep, but as soon as I stepped in, a black shadow ran through the wall, knocking over the trash can. Me and one of my cats took off running straight into the living room.

There are a bunch more stories I’ll share, but my thumbs are sick of typing… so that’s all for now.
