Collecting has turned into an addiction.
Honestly… I don’t even know where to start.
I think it was late April when I randomly stumbled into a few WN shows, then it turned into TT shows, and somehow now I’m sitting here with around 80 bottles. Why? I have no idea. I’ll never wear all of these. 😂 (There’s another 10+ bottles shown)
The rack is my attempt to organize the madness:
Row 1: Work / Daily
Row 2: Daily / Errands / Outside
Row 3: Loud / Compliment getters
Row 4: Night time / Date night
Every single bottle has been a blind buy. The deals are just so good, and whatever it does to your brain when you’re trying to swipe and win… yeah, it got me.
Lately, I’ve really been into Michael Malul. Not exactly a clone house, but some of their stuff has been really good for me — especially the cleaner daily wear type scents.
A few I moved on from or didn’t love:
Khamrah Waha — this one felt super hyped at first, then I started seeing some pushback reviews, and I agree with the pushback. The opening is nice, but the projection/performance just isn’t there for me.
French Avenue Veneno — the smoky apple hookah/shisha vibe was just not for me.
Lattafa New York — way too heavy on the cherry/fruity side for my taste.
Fragrance World Fabulous Life — gave me more of a “someone was smoking in the room” vibe than something I’d actually want to wear.
MM - Ginger + Mist — I wore it to work and my wife hated it, so that one was an easy removal.
I’m realizing now I need to slow down, stop chasing every new “banger,” and actually enjoy what I already have. I say that but I already have Jo Milano Notes 1/2, 1, 2 ordered and on the way.
