Jim comes back

I think Jim may be resurrected eventually and story walks to Ethan to tell him about the lake of tears. In episode 1 Tabitha tells Ethan that Norman can’t be dead because monsters aren’t real so they can’t have killed him. When/if they eventually figure things out and destroy the man in yellow and the monsters, Jim will never have died. There does seem to be some time wobbly wobbly shi going on. Like a predestination kind of thing, a closed loop. So if they do manage to defeat it all they essentially prevent the death of Jim and others. Jim going back to direct Ethan would be part of the effort to defeat the monsters. A pretty weak theory I know but Jim really did seem to be alive when he appeared to Ethan, he had a scratch on his forehead which makes me thing it was the real Jim not just an apparition or figment of Ethan’s imagination.

Theme of the town and monsters

This may have been spoken about before, I’m new to this but the theme of the town and the monsters stands out to me. It looks 1950’s, the diner and the attire of the monsters as well as the sign for the motel etc. all point to a time period that has passed yet we see the different iterations of Jade like the civil war soldier, surely the town and monsters didn’t look like they do when civil war Jade arrived? So it feels safe to assume the town refreshes the look every now and then so why is stuck looking the way it does now so long later? Could it be stuck because victor was never killed so it hasn’t been able to reset?
