This ‘56 Strat is pretty much my dream guitar. I absolutely love how it plays and sounds, but I’m a little confused trying to figure out exactly what this guitar is/spec-wise.

I got it from Carter Vintage Guitars and the listing described it as a 2021 Custom Shop Strat with certain specs, but when I registered the serial with Fender, the info coming back points to 2006 and some of the specs don’t really line up with the listing.

From what I can tell, it seems like some kind of Time Machine/’56 reissue, but I’m still trying to understand exactly what it is and whether parts/specs may have changed over time.

Can anybody here provide some insight on it? I’ll attach pics, serial info, and the spec sheet/listing screenshots. Thanks!
