Should I be worried?
Planted this Hydrangea paniculata ‘bonfire’ in a pot in March as I bought a bare root plant. Was doing really well, then planted it in the ground under a tree in May. Also was doing really well and now noticed this hole in the stem? Is this some sort of insect damage like slugs/snails? Will it be okay ?
Located in UK, hardiness zone 9B
