Hi All,

Just a quick question. I am wanted to eventually do/try some gravel events, initially I need to do some more gravel riding.

At the moment I have a cyclocross bike (Trek Crocket) set up for racing cx on. 1x sram apex and basic alloy wheels.

Rather than jumping straight in and buying an out-n-out gravel bike. Im thinking of just putting some gravel tyres on the crocket (I think I have clearance up to 38mm) and maybe a bigger front chainring (running a 38t currently. I think)

Just wondered if anyone has done this and how they found it? Did it do the job, or was it not as simple as it seems?
