Master’s in Taiwan (NCKU)
I’ve recently been accepted into National Cheng Kung University with a full tuition waiver scholarship, and I’ll also be joining a lab as an RA during my master’s. My planned field is biomedical engineering, and my background is in robotics and AI engineering.
I’m currently considering my long-term plans and would really appreciate hearing from people who have studied or worked in Taiwan, especially in engineering or research fields.
I’d love to know more about:
research culture in Taiwanese labs
work opportunities after graduation
industry connections in biomedical engineering / AI / robotics
international student life
daily lifestyle and work-life balance in Taiwan
I’m especially interested in hearing honest experiences from locals, international students, or anyone who has worked in Taiwan long term.
Thank you so much!
