Name change & World Cup tickets
Looking for advice. I had a legal name change between when I purchased my tickets and having access to them (TODAY).
The FIFA FAQ says I should submit a form to update my information, but I’m wondering if it would be cleaner to just set up a new account with my correct information and transfer the tickets. Both seem risky to me that there will be an error, but I’m concerned that FIFA won’t get my information updated in time and my tickets won’t match my legal passport.
Has anyone gone through the name change process for their tickets? Was it quick?
