If a foraging spot suffers fires in the summer will that have an effect on the spot once the season starts?
There is a mountain in my general region that I have foraged on in the past. Its currently experiencing fires due to the extended hot spell we are experiencing.
Is this likely to mean that the mycelium layer will get wiped out if the fire persists? Will it have an effect on the season once it starts?
