Does Emporia Vue 3 come calibrated OOtB or do you need to calibrate it?

What is best for calibration? 100 watt incandescent bulb? I guess the meter from the electric company if you can get stable usage (because of delay in reporting).

Once the Vue 3 is calibrated, plugs would be easy to calibrate, if you can, I would think.

Also, does shortening those wires make any difference? I wouldn't think it would, but....

I really wish they made an expansion board for that thing, I have 2 tandem breakers because the power in takes 4 and I have a whole home surge. If I switch to a heat pump, that's 2 more (can't share with the A/C, what if you want to run both...) I can't be alone.
