Hi! I wanna buy some mini pc in addition to my Synology DS224+ NAS for homelab purposes. Mostly to play around with linux/docker and host some relatively light application. I alreday paid the premium for NAS for hardware transcoding support, so Plex probably will stay on the NAS.
The main restraint for me that I'm in Ukraine, and due to war power supply is unstable. I have 100W DC 12V UPS that currently powers my NAS with 4x6000 mAh batteries, that with average 20W consumption is about 6-9 hours of work without a grid.
And I want to hook up mini pc to the same UPS. So, the device should be:
- 12V
~15W in idle mode, to not drain UPS batteries to quickly.
From my research, N100-based mini-PC suits well to my needs, but I'm not sure.
But if I even filter out by processor, brand names unfamiliar for me, so it is hard to choose something.
Is there any recomendation for my case?
