I'm looking for people who want to train for gd, we can conduct sessions on our own and practice. anyone interested?

I will turn 18 this august, I'll be applying for all the cadet programs available in india. I was looking for training for the entrance process. I went to two different ground schools and both of them suggested clearing exams before joining any cadet program. Me and my parents believe there's no point doing the classes as we do it anyways later so I'm just confused about taking the classes or not. Also do we really need training for adapt etc. they charge around 70k so wouldn't it rather be better to buy your own rudder peddle and joystick and symbiotics course.
